Chula Vista 5K

Chula Vista, CA
I did this 5k with my Dad at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista California. This was my favorite 5K course because while we were doing the race, other Olympians were practicing right in front of us. I also got to talk to someone the whole way to the finish line. We got to see a lot of Olympians and run on their track.

Seville Triathlon

Gilbert, AZ
This triathlon is put on by Tri Family Racing. I always like their races. They do a great job for kids. This one was at the Seville Sports Club. It is a great place. This was probably one of the hardest triathlons I have done because it had a hill at the end of the run. I have never had to encounter a hill in a triathlon. I got fourth place and missed a medal by 24 seconds. I was kind of mad at myself. My Dad says we can do this one again in the fall.

Verrado Triathlon

Verrado, AZ
This race was put on by Tri Family Racing and the Village Health Club at Verrado. I like this place a lot. This was my second triathlon. The run was the hardest thing because my left foot started to cramp. It took place in a beautiful neighborhood that had a town square an open shopping. I also had some trouble in transition because I almost stole someones towel. I got first place in my age division. There was a town square where I played football with some of the other kids after the race>
.
There was also a store that sold giant dougnuts.
Here are some pictures:

Vistancia Triathlon

Vistancia, AZ
Vistancia was my first triathlon. It was a favorite of mine. I loved the running course. It was beautiful. I recommend this race to beginners. I got first place in my age division and first place over-all. This race was put on by 4 Peaks Racing and they did a great job. I got a medal, a trophy and a T-shirt. The T-shirt I got is still one of my favorites.
.

I trained for lots of weeks with my Dad to get ready for my first triathlon. We did running and biking together and my Dad is a really good swimmer, so he taught me how to swim like a professional and now I am one of the fastest kids in the pool.

Run Wild

Phoenix, AZ
Run Wild was another favorite of mine. It was my very first 5K. It was a fun course through the Phoenix Zoo. Everywhere you looked there was an animal. The time and the run passed by fast. It was exciting. I did really good. I had been training with my Dad at the gym on the tread mill. I actually beat my Dad who also did the race. He was pushing my baby sister in a stroller. They had good food. This race was put on by Lifetime Fitness, the gym I belong to.
